Our 100% Hemp Summer Cloth Is The Perfect Linen

From shear, lightweight, medium weight, and our heavy open weave weight. Linen is very strong, absorbent, and dries faster than cotton while also adding the performance and benefits of 100% hemp. This makes our Hemp Linen perfect for garments, homeware, reusable filters, nut milk bags, and much more.


Historically, Linen was made from Flax, another long bast fiber. However, in today's textile market, when referring to "Linen," it is to represent the weave structure, and it should be noted what the content may be.


Our 100% Hemp summer cloth has its own unique characteristics, including a tendency to wrinkle. However, depending on the weight and tightness of the weave, we recommend washing or dying to tighten the weave and achieve your perfect fit or size. The fabric will soften significantly with use, providing a comforting touch to your skin.

Hemp Linen / Summer Cloth

Our lighter summer cloth fabrics have been used successfully in fiberglass applications, including a custom Tony Hawk skateboard! Some other fiberglass projects using our hemp include:

  • Surfboards – Similar to the skateboard, our hemp linen was used to create a nearly indestructible finished product.
  • Boats – Entire canoes and many interior applications
  • Autos – Lotus used our fabric for a fiberglass hood and several auto interiors have been produced using our hemp. Historically, Henry Ford built a car body with hemp composite
